Gifts
Your child feels loved when you give him/her gifts. A small trinket in a lunchbox, a new ball for having a great game, or a pack of gum just because. Small little gifts every now and then will go a long way. Even buying them things they need, before they even have to mention them can be easily perceived as a gift, such as new socks, underwear, or a fun new toothbrush!
This is just a quick quiz to help you get a tiny glimpse into your child's love language, but there are some great tools to help you learn more about their personality too. Check out the Parenting With Personality App where there are two personality courses (a child and a parent-focused). You might also enjoy The You Zoo book, a child assessment in story form and a parenting resource. There is also an 11-module online course titled Learning the Language of Your Child's Heart that will help you dig deeper and explore how to better understand and connect with your child.
