  It seems like you may have a cliche on your hands! Whether your conflict, character, or setting, something is matching up to many other things written/produced before your story. Hey, maybe you got the idea while interacting with a similar story and your mind created an awesome twist. Twist or not, however, it's still to cliche to really be original. But, that doesn't mean it won't sell, if that's your ultimate goal!

  I think you have a lot more decisions you need to make. So far, you aren't even completely sure what your story will fully be. Considering that, you can't really determine if the story is cliche. But, what is nice is that since you haven't formulated your whole story, you can redo what would potentially be cliche, preventing it in the first place. Keep an eye out and good luck!
