It's kinda hard to tell, it seems like you had a good date, but not a really good date. They seem nice and you had some good conversation, but is there any more to it? Sometimes it hard to tell after just one date. Give them at least a second date, maybe a third. If after the third date you are still hesitant then maybe it's time to cut your losses and call it quits? Sometimes it seems nice to keep people around "just in case" but that usually doesn't end well.
