You're An Optimistic Author!
You’ve got ideas and ambition, and you know you'll get your ideas out one day, but 'life stuff' just gets in your way.You know you've got enough knowledge to write a book, and you've got such a full and busy life that you've just not gotten around to it yet.You have your book idea plus notes on it in various places that prove you've got the knowledge, topic and necessary information to write your book.If there was a way to grant an extra hour of the day to you for writing, you're SURE you'd get your book written.Your big challenge? You never feel like there are enough hours in the day for everything you want to do, let alone work on your draft! Spoiler alert: even if you were granted extra time that other humans don't get, you might not get around to writing anyway. Why? Because you have a teeny tendency towards procrastination that whittles away your available time on activities that don't move you towards your writing goals. Of course, when you’ve got a life as full as yours, it's totally understandable. You can work with your tendencies though, so don't give up! Plenty of Optimistic Authors have written and published their books - it just takes knowing how to work with your way of doing things to get it done. Keep reading for your customised plan to use your Optimistic Author Archetype to help ground you and get your book written:1. Know that any forward movement equals progress. Yes, ideally every author would have large blocks of time to write - and use them! But life's not like that. Setting a timer for just 15 minutes at least once per day will get you further than holiding out for the 4-hour block of time that won't happen.2. Sort your book plan. Your ideas of what you can get done are so powerful, but they need a form so that they can be created in the world. With a book plan, you'll be able to save your creativity for your writing, rather than imagining what you need to do next.3. Give yourself a break! You’re so caught up with ideas that your mind can go into overdrive. Remember to stoke the creative fires by giving yourself time just for you.
