I’m glad you took the first step in getting your finances under control, congratulations! Here are some next steps that might be beneficial for you:1. Make a budget, and stick to it! It's a necessary first step. 2. What can you do to increase your income? Can you go for a promotion or different job? Can you create a new income stream or side hustle? The more you can increase your core income, the more you can save and invest.3. Make sure you have automatic contributions set up for your 401k4. Set up automatic saving in other forms of investments (make sure you speak to an investment advisor for specific advice).
