  You're in the "Dissolution" Stage!

  Step 2 in the alchemical cycleYou've made it through the Calcination stage, and here the ashes that remain from the burning and break down of the first stage are dissolved in water, further purifying the separate pieces to extract their core essence. It can be a swirling - whirling "stirring-of-the-pot". Grab some tissues, and use this as an opportunity to look within!But beware, on a personal level, Dissolution can bring up a swirl of emotions stemming from the negative ego. There can be a lack of clarity within the turbulent flow of emotions. Because of the lack of clarity, you may not be able to see what is actually going on, and instead are left to your gut-reactions. This connects you with the "deeper stirrings" of the subconscious. This is not the best time to make decisions. Instead, take time to allow your emotions to settle down.While this tends to be a very emotional stage, it is meant to be an introspective one - providing you with an opportunity to reflect and dig deeper into what is at the root.   Step 3 in the alchemical cycleGood work! You've made it through Calcination and Dissolution - now you're able to see things a bit more clearly. In Alchemy, during the “Separation” stage you let your solution sit undisturbed as things naturally start to separate out because they have different densities. As they separate, you will then be able to siphon off or clearly see what's what.In our lives this shows up as a clear distinction between the aspects of ourselves we wish to let go of, and the new ways of being we are calling in. Once the layers or various elements become separated and more clearly identifiable, you can start picking out the pieces of what to keep and what to discard, what is pure or essential, what is impure or toxic.After the various parts that are essential to keep have been separated out, they must each go through their own purification processes to bring them into a greater state of clarity and balance before they can successfully be brought back together.   Step 4 in the alchemical cycleCongratulations! You have reached the half-way point in this process of transformation, and you are likely feeling much better after all the changes you've been through.Just remember that while things are feeling good right now, the “Conjunction” stage is only the half-way point in the transformational process, where you bring the purified parts back together in harmonious proportion and reunite them! At this stage we find a working combination between the essential ingredients and, in bringing them back together, a new vision and sense of clarity for how to proceed is established. Continuing onward from here requires a strong sense of connection and dedication to the accomplishment of your new vision and higher purpose.It is recommended that you develop a consistent practice of meditation and spiritual connection with your Higher Self to keep you moving forward towards your greatest potential.   Step 5 in the alchemical cycleIt's time to go deep within and do some soul searching! You've entered the slow burn of Fermentation - a further refinement to burn away what no longer serves. In the “Fermentation” stage we experience a cycle of separating and burning, at a very deep level. This is a slow process which continues to eliminate any final, more subtle impurities or deeply rooted imbalances in our life. Fermenting means “to allow something to mature to the point where anything that is corruptible or transitory will die away”. Any impurities that make it to this stage are not as obvious to our conscious mind and take more soul-searching to root out. Simultaneously, the new unified whole with its new vision is maturing and taking a deeper root to replace the old parts that are dying away. This is where we solidify the evolved version of ourselves we are becoming!Hang in there! Meditate, journal, ask yourself the tough questions so you can face the deeper truth of yourself and your life, and then be prepared to let go of anything that does not serve your Highest Self and the greater work you are here to do in the world.   You're in the "Distillation" Stage!

  Step 6 in the alchemical cycleAlmost there! You're nearing the completion of this transformational cycle and now it's about raising your vibration, refining, and putting on the finishing touches to your new way of life.In the “Distillation” stage, we find that everything which remains is of essence and must be kept. Through the first 5 stages our work is centered around purification and eliminating impurities while clarifying the essentials. But as we come to this 6th stage our focus and energy shifts to one of refinement and elevation. In the journey of the metamorphosis of the caterpillar, this is the point when the new form of the butterfly is complete and it's time to break out of the chrysalis. The alchemical process is not complete, though. The struggle to get out of the chrysalis is an important part of the strengthening of the butterfly’s wings so that it can be strong. If we were to assist a butterfly out of its cocoon before it was able to do it on its own, then that butterfly would not be strong enough to take flight. Remember: it is important to complete this step of strengthening into this new form. Distillation is a process of several cycles of “evaporating and re-condensing”. During this stage your task is to elevate your vibration and raise your energy into a more refined state of higher consciousness - then letting it come back down into a denser or more practical state of applying new insights into life. You go through several rounds of this “refining process” and with each round of elevating to a higher level, you capture more of the subtle energies of higher consciousness within it. Then you let it re-condense into a more tangible or embodied state.   Step 7 in the alchemical cycleYou're in the final stage of completing this cycle of transformation - the butterfly is ready to take flight! It's time to go out, spread your wings, and enjoy the sweet nectar of life.You have completed this transformational cycle and are ready to begin a new cycle of evolution and expansion in such a way that is in service to a greater whole.In this final Alchemical stage of transformation called “Coagulation”, everything congeals or crystalizes into a more integral form! Here, all of the purified, elevated, consciousness-infused substance has crystallized it into a final, incorruptible form. In this final form, all opposites are balanced and united into one whole. Typically, you have to go through several rounds of the previous six steps before you will actually reach your end goal, your “philosopher’s stone”.
