A "no-spend" challenge would definitely benefit you.
You're not entirely out of control with your finances, but there's something that's still nagging at you. You want more. You want to pay closer attention to your spending, save more, invest more, and feel more secure about your financial situation. You want to be spending less on your credit cards. The thing is, you know you can do it, but something, someone, some ideas, or some beliefs are holding you back from achieving what you truly desire in your financial life. It's time to buckle down and define your financial goals. So, here's the deal, my friend: you need to break through and identify what's preventing you from becoming that brilliantly financially confident person you know you can be. Ask yourself this important question: 'What is holding me back?' 🤔Don't be afraid to share your intentions with a friend; they might become your accountability partner or be inspired to try the challenge with you! Journaling is also effective in this process. Through a 'no-spend' challenge, you'll regain control over your finances, understand where your hard-earned money is going, and finally have the opportunity to save for the things that allow you to live your best life. You know you can do it, I know you can do it too. You just need to commit. ✨Your personal positive statement is: 'I am capable of moving into the next positive chapter of my financial life.' Say this to yourself daily and believe it. Remind yourself that you can overcome challenges, and YOU alone have the power to shape your financial destiny.🦋How to get started and make this no-spend challenge a success!1. Define your WHY: Why do you want to do this no-spend challenge? Is it to save some money for a particular thing? To pay off debt? To get out of the habit of mindless spending? Define your "why." Write it down and reflect on it when things get tough (and they will!).For a place to write out your thoughts feel free to grab my MONEY NOTEBOOK here available on AMAZON now!2. Pick a date when you would like to start and commit! Declare to yourself and others in your household or life that you will be doing this. Find an accountability partner if needed.Grab your instant download No-Spend Challenge Worksheet here3. Prepare. Create the rules. Define what is essential spending. This includes expenses such as gas, groceries, parking, etc. Obviously, continue to pay your bills. I always tell people that if it's in their budget and they have one thing they're itching to purchase, do it before you start. This will help you stay strong throughout your challenge, but again, ONLY if it's affordable and within your budget.Lastly, what will you do when you finish your challenge? How will you celebrate? It's really interesting to see what happens here. The whole point of this challenge is not to splurge and go to Mexico after it's done. Again, remember to reflect on your WHY and avoid falling back into old habits. What was the point of it all?4.
