You are a Magnificent Motivator!
Congratulations! Your superpower is taking charge, speaking up and making sure others are heard! You’re a pro when it comes to motivating and inspiring others to do, see or think differently.Your ability to point the emotions of others towards your point of view is envy-able! Maybe you're not a celebrity or famous person but you still manage to influence almost everyone you come into contact with. You're a Mom who understands that persuasion is an art, and only the very few are gifted by it.Some people may misinterpret your charismatic nature as fake or feel threatened by your solid sense of inner direction. But you know the truth- that influence is power. You show you care by speaking up for those you care about, especially if they cannot do so easily for themselves.Followers come more easily to you than friendships. You're open to getting help but you want your mentors to match you in presence and charm. What does this mean for you when it comes to your Identity and Purpose now that your kids are more independent? As a Magnificent Motivator, the steps to finding more purpose in your life begins with accepting your unique brilliance... You effortlessly influence others and you instinctively know what your "audience" needs and values Never forget how highly valued this special ability is, especially to those who are wired differently than you are. Others will usually be attracted to your magnetic presence and want to work with you.Read on for 3 tips to use your superpower to find more meaning and purpose in your Life After Kids.“"Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better." —Maya Angelou3 Tips to Find More Purpose as a Magnificent Motivator 1. Recognize Your Best Roles. When it comes to your Superpower, you get a jolt of energy from persuading others, in a few of you it's as pure as that; for others, you're fueled to move the dial only when you're comparing your actions to others. Magnificent Motivators make great sales people (retail or other), speakers and leaders in any capacity. Outside of your career, think about speaking up for others via social media, a podcast or by writing a book. Have you ever thought about bringing your talents to writing a blog or starting an online business doing something you're passionate about? Emcee? Lobbyist for Change? Running for Political Office? These are just a few examples of where you would shine. 2. Be Open to Collaboration. Who in your life can help you organize your influence and efforts into tangible results? Magnificent Motivators make great partners because they bring confidence and effortless amplification to a project. Word of caution- Look for partners who understand your need for clarity and directness. You don't like to beat around the bush.3. Use your superpower to hack your productivity. If you're not doing so already, find an appropriate outlet to talk or write about your experiences and feelings to others. Any discontent you experience could be because you're lacking an audience or otherwise not having people in your life who are patient with your outward style of processing. The more you communicate what you can see and what you are moving toward, the better. Just remember, your sense of purpose will always grow when you figure out how you can use your talents to help others."Time is not refundable; use it with intention." —UnknownHi👋, we're Dr. Brooke Stillwell and Dr. Lynne Mouw, cofounders of Life after Kids!
