  This is so great! It's the FREE option! You can enroll your child in your district's public school and rest assured that they are in the right place.

  Private School - traditional

  Private schools aren't one size fits all either - the best 'style' of private school for your family is the traditional style that's been around the longest. These are typically religious schools (often cheaper because they're funded by the dioses) or college prep schools (a bit more expensive - usually with more networking potential to Ivy's, etc.)If you're local to the Braintree area: Quincy Catholic, St Agatha's, Fontbonne, Milton Academy, BC High, Sacred Heart, Notre Dame, or Thayer Academy might be worth looking into!

  Private School - non-traditional/alternative

  Many private schools don't follow the traditional 'college prep' or 'religious affiliated' style. In the past, most non-traditional schools were Montessori or Waldorf, but more recently a lot of other non-traditional values-based private schools have been popping up. Depending on what you're looking for, you can google search your area for microschools, montessori, waldorf, alternative or independent private schools. Elements Academy is a style of education that does not exist anywhere else. We do NOT follow a prescribed curriculum, philosophy, or pedagogy, because that's super limiting.   While in previous years you'd have had less options and resources, after 2020 many people realized schooling from home isn't so bad! There are lots of resources for homeschooling, unschooling, and worldschooling that can give you the freedom you desire! And if you can't do it full time, there are lots of co-ops or part time drop-off options you could look into to supplement their education and/or give you time to work!If you work full time and need to enroll your child in a private school, there are many kids at Elements Academy who have previously homeschooled. Due to our individualized style and cozy vibe, homeschoolers typically do really well here!
