You are Courageous💪🏽 Courage is a skill.You're leading and succeeding on your terms. One of the biggest misconceptions is that courage is the opposite of fear. This is false. The opposite of fear is conformity. And you have been resisting the urge to allow approval, acceptance or even achievement determine how you will work and live. Your team is lucky to have you. But courage always comes at a cost.⚡️You're a strong leader. Strong leaders all walk with a limp and carry scars from experiences that taught them about themselves. It's time for you to continue setting the pace for the people around you without getting burned out by the endless list of duties. Remember, winning is short-term and fleeting so you need to embrace a fuller, richer definition of what lasting success looks like. It involves Happiness, Achievement, Legacy and Significance. You're not a machine, you're a human. Even strong leaders require rest. 🤯 Fear is a feature, not a glitch.The battles ahead won't be won by willpower, motivation or competency alone. By over-depending on your strengths you might be overlooking the human side of leading change. Continue embracing the messy, ugly awkward moments of managing people and projects. Be more aware of the people around you who will benefit from knowing your story, your past or your struggles. Choose wisely who to mentor and who to seek counsel from. You don't have to lead how you were led in the past. How much effort do others spend trying to fit in around you?
