  Bookstores are the places to be if you're into new reads and best sellers. While they do have older books, they mostly keep the newest and hottest books on their shelves and on their online store. If your local bookstore doesn't have the book you're looking for, don't be shy, go ahead and ask them to order the libro you're dying to read.

  If you're minding your centavos or you want to be environmentally conscious, the library may be the place for you. Remember, if they don't have a title you're dying to read, you can always request it or have it shipped over from another branch. You'll still get to browse and see what you can find--which can be the fun part. Pero, the library is where you need to be if you read constantly but want to save some green.

  Thrift shops are a fun place to pick up books because there is such a variety. While you can find popular and new books, you usually find gently read books, older titles or "out of print" books. If you're interested in oldies but goodies, try browsing here to find them. What makes it even better is that you can build your dream library on the cheap with these previously loved copies.

  Good friends, read good books, right? Probably. You wont know if your friend has good taste in books until you ask what they're reading. Go ahead, ask your fave brunch bestie to lend you a book they're done with and give it a whirl. Who knows, it might just be the start of a beautiful book relationship. After all, friends that read together, stay friends longer.

  Most digital libraries are filled with best sellers, indie reads, and classics. More than anything, when you want to read something new, and most likely unheard of, but you want to do it on the cheap, eReads can be the best place. You don't need to have a room for all your books, and many of the ones you find may not be in print anyway!
