It sounds like you are an Excuse Giver.
You desperately want to have forward movement, but when you take inventory of your life, you simply don't see the bandwidth. A healthy view of our schedules, and subsequent boundaries, is necessary and good! You can't say yes to everything. However, when you're overwhelmed and unsure of how to move forward, it's easy to to come up with a laundry list of reasons why you don't have the time or energy to answer God's call on your life. Are you willing to say an obedient yes to however, whenever, and wherever God calls? Joy and peace come on the other side of "Yes!" In a life that's sold out to God's leading, His glory is the goal, and His presence is the prize.Three tips for getting unstuck...1. Evaluate your reasoning.Take an honest look at your schedule and the reasons you feel are keeping you stuck. Can you make changes in your schedule? 2. Make necessary changes. It's likely that, to be obedient in your next step, you'll have to make some changes in how you spend your time. Take inventory of the time you might be wasting on mindless activities (example: social media).3. Ask a friend to hold you accountable.Sheesh! I know. This can be a tough one. Be honest with a safe friend about the next step you sense God asking you to take. Be specific in how you'd like them to check in on you (example: Every couple of weeks, can you ask me how X is going? Knowing we'll chat about this will really help me make forward progress.)For more encouragement, listen to the Radical Radiance podcast wherever you like to stream.
