Looks like your Brand might need a little love! Here's 3 key areas you can start focusing on to bring in more personality and shift how your business is seen.PERSONALITYHere's good news and bad news: being your weird, authentic self is in, and trying to be that 'cool gal' is out. Sounds easy huh? But shedding the identity of trying - trying to be a professional, trying to be an expert, trying to know it all, trying to come across as the best solution - can be a lot harder than you'd think. Your brand personality is essentially YOUR personality, in a more consistent way. You're not showing up on socials spilling the beans on your recent argument with your sister. Instead you're going to show up with your best foot forward, walk the walk and be the leader you long to be - as your real, raw self. Quit dimming your light, keeping your voice & opinions small, and following what others are doing. With a few things: building up trust, value and recognition.This is done through: consistent and non-generic visuals (yes, your colours, fonts, logos, backgrounds, patterns, imagery, sm graphics); getting more specific in the problem you solve, and straight up - being a reliable source of inspiration, knowledge and guidance they can come to.VISUAL IDENTITYNow that you're showing up authentically and becoming a reliable leader in the online space, you need the visuals to match the value you're pumping out. Your visuals hold a lot of weight so much so, I had to bold, underline and italicize that.Your brand identity needs to be visually stimulating to your dream client, so that they stay long enough to read the information you have not only on the graphic, but in the caption (or the website, newsletter etc), and then come back for more (aka, follow you). I'm sure you've heard of the Rule of 7 - that a viewer needs 7 touch points before they convert into an inquiry or a sale. That's 7 pieces of content from you that they need to see, then read. So every time you are changing your fonts, your colours, trying the new trendy layout on Canva, or switching things up entirely, you're hitting that reset button on your 7. But if you have a brand identity that oozes you & your personality, shows the value you have to offer, positions you as a leader and not a newb, AND you stay consistent with it... that's when the magic happens.
