YOU MIGHT BE STRUGGLING WITH YOUR SELF-WORTH & CONFIDENCE.
It sounds like things feel tough for you right now. So let me start by saying this... you are not alone! I was once where you are now, and I meet so many people who feel the same way as you do. The good news is that you recognize something is going on, and that you're not feeling your best. That's a beautiful starting point!We take some of that power back when we are able to recognize what's going on with us. And it's pretty normal for people to not even realise that the issues they are struggling with root from a place of low confidence and self-worth. You might have been searching and scanning your life looking for the 'problem', asking yourself 'What isn't making me happy?' The plot twist comes when you realise it hasn't got anything to do with anything or anyone else....the issue is actually how you feel about yourself. So what are you going to do about it? Right here, right now, make a commitment to yourself to make a change. Make the decision that you don't want to waste another minute of your life feeling the way you do. Repeat after me: 'I am taking action, and I am going to change how I feel about myself.'So you might be thinking, ok great Eden... now what???I know from experience, when you are stuck in your head, with all the unhelpful thoughts going round and round... you just want to get away from it. So I want your first action to be to get out of your head, and into your body. I want you to move from a place of joy- just for fun! Is there a movement that makes you feel good? Maybe it's going for a walk, swimming in the sea, yoga, tennis, running... or simply putting on your favourite music and having a good bloody dance! Choose a movement that feels good, and do it TODAY! And then see if you can start doing more of this movement. It doesn't have to be every day. But just start doing something different, to show yourself some kindness. Why does this work? Because when we are feeling low, and thinking negative thoughts, our body changes. Maybe you slump down, you tap your foot, your breath is shallow, or you feel tired. The same happens in reverse... when we are moving our body, we send happy messages to our brain, and we have a natural mood boost! We can change the way we feel by joyfully moving our body! Isn't that amazing?So, it sounds really simple, and that's because it is. But most people still won't do it! Even if you find 5 minutes of movement joy in your day, that's the start of changing the way you feel about yourself. You can do this!!!HOLD UP!!
